Mammograms save lives. They help doctors spot tumors early, when they're still too tiny for a woman or her doctor to feel. If cancer is present, they can give women a head start on life saving treatment.

And here at Berger Health System, we're committed to making your mammograms comfortable and private and providing quick, accurate results. We care deeply about women's health.

State-of-the-art breast cancer screening

Because we're dedicated to providing the best breast care possible, we offer the latest digital mammography technology at three convenient locations.

While standard mammography stores the images of breasts on film, digital mammography stores them on a computer. Our radiologists can magnify and enhance these digital images so that subtle differences between abnormal and normal tissue may be easier to detect—especially in women with dense breasts. Better imaging may also reduce the need for repeat mammograms.

And this should give you more peace of mind: Our radiologists are all board-certified and highly experienced at detecting breast disease.

Your mammography timetable

When you should start having regular mammograms—and how often you should have them—depends on your family and personal medical history. Our team of obstetricians and gynecologists can help determine the best screening schedule for you.

Arranging your mammogram appointment
