Imaging services

Radiologists have a key role to play when you're sick or injured. The medical imaging tests they perform could help your doctor understand what's happening beneath the surface of your skin. When diagnostic imaging tests are complete, your doctor can begin to offer you the treatments and therapies you'll need in order to get better.

At Berger Health System, we understand the importance of having a state-of-the-art imaging department open and available to help patients in need. That's why we work hard to bring the latest and greatest to our Pickaway County community.

Radiology tests we offer

Our radiology team delivers high-quality medical imaging using the latest technology available. We can provide you with a variety of imaging options, including:

  • Computed tomography, used to create detailed images of bones, organs, soft tissue and blood vessels.
  • Magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI, which can produce clear, clean and detailed images of internal structures.
  • Ultrasound, used to generate a clear picture of soft tissues (which don't show up well on an x-ray).
  • X-ray, which can help doctors spot broken bones, injuries or infections.

We also offer robust mammography screening services with high-tech machines that can spot tumors when they're small and easier to treat.

In addition to these diagnostic imaging tests, our radiologists can perform interventional radiology procedures. An interventional radiologist can use an MRI or another form of imaging test in order to spot an issue such as a blood clot or a torn blood vessel. When the source of the issue has been identified, the radiologist can insert tools and correct the problem, without making a large incision.

Radiologists you can trust

Our board-certified radiologists have extensive experience in a broad range of imaging services, as well as interventional radiology procedures.

In addition, we partner with Riverside Radiology & Interventional Associates. That partnership gives us access to more than 70 subspecialized and board-certified radiologists. This proven partnership provides faster turnaround times for evaluating and diagnosing medical issues. Our partnership also ensures that you can work with a radiology specialist that knows about your medical issue in detail, so you can get the best testing possible.
