Volunteer Opportuntities

A variety of volunteer opportunities exist at Berger Health System. We currently have over 350 volunteers working with patients, families, and staff to create an environment of care and support.

You can join our volunteer team and provide valuable assistance in areas such as patient care, outreach programs, delivery services, clerical services, and our gift shop. Your sharing provides many benefits for patients, the community, and most importantly, you!

Volunteer opportunities exist for men and women, single people, couples, and teens over 14 years old. Volunteers generally work a minimum of one four-hour shift per week.

Getting started is as simple as meeting with one of our volunteer coordinators for a brief interview. We'll learn about your skills, interests, and the amount of time you have to offer, and then match you with a volunteer assignment that best reflects your skills, interests and experience. After that, you'll participate in an orientation program, during which you'll learn the hospital's policies and procedures, and hear about our volunteer benefits.
