Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers at Berger Health System are asked to assist health care professionals, patients, and families in many significant ways. Here are just some of the volunteer duties:

• Greet visitors at the information desk
• Share directions
• Escort patients to their rooms
• Spend time visiting with patients
• Deliver flowers to patients
• Distribute mail and daily newspapers to patients
• Give clerical support
• Pass out books/videos to patients
• Courtesy Cart for visitors

Becoming a Volunteer: 1-2-3

1. Call 740.420.8464 for an application and to schedule an interview.
2. Schedule a P.P.D. tuberculin skin test.
3. Attend an orientation program.
