Clinical DieteticsThe Department of Clinical Dietetics at Berger Hospital is comprised of an experienced, dynamic group of registered dietitians who strive to promote and support the health and nutrition of their patients. A clinical dietitian will assess nutritional needs and prescribe a diet for the patient once they have a provider referral. Nutritional education and diabetic self-management training are provided either in group or individual settings. Inpatient ServicesA clinical dietitian will assess and monitor the patient's nutritional status and needs during a hospital stay. The dietitian will also provide individual and family diet education before the patient is discharged. Outpatient ServicesMedical nutritional outpatient therapy is dependent upon a provider referral. Daytime individual consults and evening group diabetes classes are scheduled on weekdays. HoursMonday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. |
