Gary Wright
I have been an avid photographer all my life. I enjoy the beauty and wonder of nature, be it plant, animal or landscape. Too many times I have witnessed the disregard of our naturally beautiful areas. I desire to photograph them and preserve them for all to see.
It is my hope that each person would take time to see nature and to witness its beauty. Too many rush to a waterfall only to stay a few seconds and leave. So few sit and watch as the water sparkles when it runs over the rocks. How many go to the mountains but never see them? Have you tryly watched a sunset or listened to the music of a mountain Stream?
It would be my wish that every one could learn to appreciate such simple beauty. Perhaps the world would be a better place. - Gary Wright

A Note from the Gallery:
Curent and former Logan Elm High School art students of Heath Bennett are exhibiting their work in half of the gallery this month and offering these pieces for sale. It is always a pleasure to have Logan Elm students in the gallery, and I am always amazed by the talent of these young artists.
Heath and his students completed a big project for the Berger Health Foundation earlier this year when they designed and painted beautiful large murals for the Ladies Night Out fundraising event which was held in April. These murals will be used for future events as well.
I hope you will enjoy the exhibit..and as you do, keep in mind that all art is offered for sale and all sales result in a minimum donation to the Berger Health Foundation. In other words, you can feel good about purchasing that perfect art piece for your home knowing that you have helped a young, local artist as well as supported the efforts of the Foundation.

The art gallery at Berger Hospital is the result of a partnershup between ArtsaRound and Berger Health System. ArtsaRound is a community based organization dedicated to supporting art and artists in Pickaway County and the regional area. Berger Health System is a community based health care system dedicated to providing quality care so that people do not need to travel outside of their own backyard to have their health care needs met.

The mission of the ArtsaRound Gallery at Berger is to foster the relationship between art and healing by providing a venue for artists, primarily from, but not limited to, Pickaway County and the regional area, to offer their work for the aesthetic pleasure of patients, visitors, and staff. The initiatives of this unique program also contribute to the success of Berger Hospital's mission "to be the best community hospital in the State of Ohio."
