Press Releases
Circleville, OH -- July 27, 2007
Berger Health System is excited to announce that Larry Thornhill has made the decision to come back to Circleville as Berger's
CEO.
Thornhill will officially start back at Berger on August 20. According to Mayor Jean Droste, board chairman, Larry has signed a
five-year contract as the president and CEO of the health system.
Thornhill, who grew up in Texas, resigned from Berger in June to take a position in Huntsville, Texas. He started there on July
16. "After just a few days, I realized that the move just didn't feel right," said Thornhill. "I realized that I hadn't missed
Texas as much as I thought before making the move."
"After spending the majority of my professional career in the military, and moving every few years, I now know what it is like to
create roots somewhere," said Thornhill. "Those roots are in Ohio, where we have spent eight great years."
"The Board of Governors is thrilled to have Larry back on board with us," said Droste. "Berger has experienced an extraordinary
amount of growth and development under his leadership, and we are excited that he is going to be leading the future endeavors."
