Circleville, OH -- July 9, 2007 Pickaway Health Services (PHS) hired two new physicians to join their Internal Medicine
Group. Leon Hughes, MD, and Nawar Al-Saieg, MD, will begin seeing inpatients at Berger Hospital in mid-July. Their role is to serve
as nocturnists, meaning they will provide care to hospital patients during nights and weekends. The goal is to provide a
continuum of care to patients 24 hours a day.
Dr. Hughes earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed his internship and residency at St.
Thomas Hospital in Akron, OH. He has been working most recently as a house officer at Berger Hospital.
Dr. Al-Saieg earned his medical degree from the University of Tishreen in Syria and recently completed his internship and
residency at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, OH.
Pickaway Health Services is a multi-specialty group of 16 physicians which has served the local community since 1995. If you have
