Circleville, OH -- January 10, 2008 -
David Paugh will join the Berger Health System Finance Department as the Corporate Vice President of Finance on January 21. This
position became open after Tim Colburn was promoted to the CEO of Berger Hospital, effective January 1.
Paugh served as Berger’s Corporate Controller from 2003 to 2005. He then relocated to Wyoming to serve as the Chief Financial Officer
at Memorial Hospital in Rock Springs.
“We are excited to have Dave lead our strong, dynamic finance team,” said Colburn. “He has a wealth of knowledge managing hospital finances.
His experience as the CFO at Memorial Hospital combined with his knowledge of Berger’s finance system makes him an excellent fit for the
position.”
In Paugh’s Vice President role, he will be responsible for a wide variety of functions related to the financial operations of the health
system including supervision of accounting, accounts payable, central scheduling, registration, patient financial services, and medical
records.
Paugh’s previous experience includes being the Senior Accountant at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Chief Financial Officer at
Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, Illinois, and Controller at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.
