Circleville, OH -- November 17, 2006
Maurices, fashion retailer for young men and women in Circleville, recently donated a supply of stuffed animals to Berger Hospital to be used for children coming to the hospital for treatment.
Pictured with “Max the Mutt” stuffed animals are Maurices employees Tonita Jones, First Assistant Manager, Chelsea Hannigan and Pat Brooks.
Maurices’ stores currently have a nationwide campaign to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. They are selling “Max the Mutt” stuffed animals for $5.00 each at their store, and $2.50 of the proceeds is being given to the American Cancer Society to be used for programs and services in the local community. In addition, they are donating a supply of the stuffed toys to local hospitals for children fighting illnesses.
