Robert Mueller, MD, orthopedic surgeon, recently joined Berger Hospital’s Medical Staff. He joins Drs. Michael Lefkowitz, Daniel Ianni and Matthew Kauffman at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center, Inc. in Circleville.
Dr. Mueller is providing inpatient and outpatient surgery at Berger Hospital. He provides all aspects of general orthopedic surgery, with extensive experience caring for patients with athletic injuries, as well as general orthopedic trauma. He routinely performs arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and ankle, having completed further training in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. He also enjoys performing replacement procedures of the hip, knee and shoulder.
Dr. Mueller attended medical school and performed his orthopedic residency at Johns Hopkins Medical School and Hospital in Baltimore, MD, completing his residency in 1993. After spending four years in the United States Navy, Dr. Mueller has been in private practice.
