Press Releases
Circleville, OH -- September 27, 2005
In recognition of National Physical Therapy Month, Mayor Jean Droste presented Gunni Long, Berger Health System's Rehabilitation
Services Clinical Director, a proclamation declaring October as "Physical Therapy Month" in Circleville.
Berger's Physical Therapy Program plays an integral role in continued efforts to provide care and assistance, coordinate
activities, and disseminate information to promote fitness and good health.
To celebrate Physical Therapy Month, Berger's PT Department will offer the "Pay a Buck" program to their patients through
October 31. Each patient can choose one exercise to be performed by the therapist (or with the therapist) for one dollar.
All program proceeds will be donated to the Berger Health Foundation, a program that raises funds to support the development of
health-related services for the residents of Pickaway County and the surrounding communities.
This year's National Physical Therapy Month theme is "Your Health. Our Hands." The celebration promotes the physical therapy
profession and encourages the public to learn more about physical therapy.
To find out more about the Physical Therapy Department at Berger Health System, call Gunni Long at 740.420.8287.
