Press Releases
Circleville, OH -- September 26, 2005
The Berger Hospital Gift Shop recently purchased over $15,000 of equipment for Berger Hospital's patient care areas.
The Intensive Care Unit received a Life Pac 20 cardiac monitor, and the Medical Surgical Unit received four sets of traction
equipment.
"As the hospital grows and expands services, the equipment needs also grow," said Connie Kelly, Vice President of Patient Care
Services. "Having the latest equipment allows us to fulfill our mission of providing quality care to the community we serve."
According to Kelly, the addition of the new LifePac 20 cardiac monitor will allow the ICU staff the latest emergency response
equipment that is available. Likewise, as Berger increases the number of orthopedic procedures, the additional traction
equipment will allow patients greater mobility and freedom of movement while they are hospitalized.
Proceeds from the Berger Hospital Gift Shop help support the purchase of patient care equipment at Berger Hospital. The group
provides, on average, over $40,000 of support annually.
The Gift Shop invites you to stop by and see their new fall items. In addition, mark your calendar for their Annual Holiday
Sale, set for November 10 at Berger Hospital.
