Praveen Giri, M.D., Neurologist, Joins Berger's Medical Staff

Circleville, OH -- May 17, 2005 Praveen Giri, M.D., who specializes in neurology, has recently joined Berger Hospital's medical staff and is establishing a full-time office practice in Circleville.

Dr. Giri will begin seeing patients on May 23 at his Circleville office, located in the Noecker Professional Building, 600 N. Pickaway St., Suite 5, on Berger Hospital's main campus. He cares for adult patients and children six years and older. His neurology practice includes diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system, including stroke, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Giri completed his bachelor's degree at St. Joseph's College in Bangalore, India. He earned his doctorate in medicine at St. John's Medical College and Hospital in Bangalore, India, where he also completed his internship and internal medicine residency. He completed his residency in neurology and a fellowship in EEG and neurophysiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
