Press Releases
Circleville, OH -- March 11, 2005
Tonya and Trent VanFossen of Circleville are the parents of the first baby girl born at Berger Hospital's Maternity Center during
National Girl Scout Week, March 6-12. Their daughter, Alexis, was born on March 7. To celebrate her arrival, a group of local
Brownies and Junior Girl Scouts, reprsenting the Logan Trails Service Unit, presented the VanFossen family with gifts that were
collected by all local troops.
Girl Scouts across the country are celebrating the organization's 93rd birthday. Girl Scout Week was created to show appreciation
to Juliette Gordon Low, who followed her own dreams and established an organization where girls from every walk of life have the
opportunity to make their dreams come true.
