Friends of Berger Support Employee Education Through Donation

Circleville, OH -- June 27, 2005 The Friends of Berger Hospital recently presented a $2,000 check to the Berger Health Foundation to support education opportunities for employees at Berger Health System. Employees can apply for scholarships to attend seminars and/or continuing education classes to gain certification in a field directly related to health care.

The Friends of Berger host annual fundraising events to make their contribution possible. Larry W. Thornhill, President and CEO of Berger Health System, expressed his gratitude for their ongoing contributions. "We encourage employees in furthering their education," said Thornhill. "With the support from the Friends of Berger, our employees are afforded the opportunity to enhance their skills, which in return, directly benefits the patients we serve."
