Circleville, OH -- June 1, 2005 Pickaway County's seventh annual garden tour, Garden Gala... Helping Our Community Bloom, will be held June 11 and 12 and features seven private residential gardens as well as Trinity Lutheran Church's garden.

Proceeds from the garden tour will benefit Circle of Caring, a Faith in Action program coordinated by Berger Health System. The volunteer caregiver program began eight years ago and continues its focus on assisting frail, elderly, and disabled community members.

The garden tours are Saturday, June 11 from 3-8 p.m., and Sunday, June 12 from 1-5 p.m. Attendees are welcome to visit the gardens as they wish during the event times.

JuLea McQuain, an artist from Delaware, Ohio with roots in Pickaway County, will be the guest artist for the event. She will be painting in the gardens during the tours.

The tour features the following gardens:

Judy Cellio, 523 Nicholas Court, Circleville
Dick and Lyn Fisher, 431 Holiday Lane, Circleville
Craig and Susan Little, 2329 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville
James and Roberta Taylor, 2337 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville
Norbert and Sandra Leasure, 2379 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville
Trinity Lutheran Church Biblical Garden, 135 E. Mound St., Circleville
Shirley Cassidy, 17350 Lockbourne-Eastern Rd., Ashville
Debbie Hulse, 277 E. Main St., Ashville

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 at Rhoads Farm Market, Royal Gardens, Goodwin's Restaurant, Circleville and Engel's Landscaping, Ashville. Tickets can be purchased the days of the event for $8 at any of the garden locations.
