Matthew Kauffman, D.O., orthopedic surgeon, recently joined Berger Hospital's Medical Staff. He joins Michael Lefkowitz, M.D.
and Daniel Ianni, D.O. at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center, where he will begin seeing patients on July 15.
Dr. Kauffman will be doing inpatient and outpatient surgery at Berger Hospital. He provides all aspects of adult and pediatric
general orthopedic surgery, with special interests in sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care, and arthroscopic
surgery.
A Columbus native, Dr. Kauffman attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in
Kansas City, and completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Grandview Hospital/Kettering Medical Center
in Dayton, Ohio. He has trained in various subspecialties in orthopedics, including trauma, adult joint reconstruction, sports
medicine, pediatrics, and hand, foot, and ankle injury.
