One day after her due date, Christina Greenlee, first-time mom, went into labor and delivered the 2005 New Year's Baby at Berger
Hospital's Maternity Center.
Baby boy Jayden Christopher Greenlee was welcomed into the world on Monday, Jan. 3 at 1:58 a.m. Weighing 6 pounds, 11 ounces,
and measuring 19.5" in length, Jayden was delivered by Dr. Joy Shields.
To celebrate Jayden's arrival as the first baby born in Pickaway County in 2005, the parents were welcomed with a variety of
gifts from local businesses. Greenlee and Patrick Bryant are immensely excited to be the parents of Pickaway County's New
Year's Baby. They would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the local businesses that made donations.
Donated items included two one-week passes from the Pickaway County YMCA; diaper bag filled with baby supplies from
As We Grow; six-month subscription from The Circleville Herald; baby blanket and ornament from Berger Hospital Gift Shop;
baby shoes certificate from Block's Shoes; stuffed animal from Maggie & Me; memory book, bath supplies, and blanket from
Something Different; slippers for mom from Sharff's Fashion, Inc.; bottle and dish set from Peebles; $50 savings bond, diapers,
burp clothes, and bath supplies from Berger Health System; and a flower arrangement from Wagner's Flowers & Gifts.
Berger welcomes the 2005 New Year's Baby and wishes to thank the local businesses for their participation in the New Year's
Baby celebration.
