Arvin Gallanosa, M.D., psychiatrist, recently joined Berger Hospital's medical staff.
Dr. Gallanosa is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and joined Dr. James Sardo in private practice on June
14. Previously, he was medical director for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Dr. Gallanosa specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders; electrodiagnostic medicine; and orthpaedic,
spinal and sports injuries. He is also trained in the rehabilitation of a variety of neurological and medical conditions, including
stroke, spinal cord injury and brain injury.
Dr. Gallanosa completed his bachelor of arts summa cum laude in Latin and chemistry at Wabash College in Crawfordsville,
Indiana, and earned his doctorate in medicine at Indiana University. He finished his transitional internship at Kettering Medical
Center in Kettering, Ohio, and then went to The Ohio State University for post-graduate training in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. He completed his residency in 2003, serving as Chief Resident for recruitment in his final year.
Dr. Gallanosa's office is located in the Noecker Profesional Building, 600 N. Pickaway St., Suite 5, on Berger Hospital's
