Circleville, OH -- February 12, 2004
Angie Youngblood, PA, of Boise, Idaho and Lalaine Borja, PA, of San Francisco, California recently joined Berger Health System
for a physician assistant clinical rotation.
Youngblood and Borja are in the Physician Assistant Program at Pacific University in Oregon. They will be at Berger for a
one-month Emergency Department rotation, under the supervision of the emergency room physicians. They will be learning more about
the role of emergency doctors, including procedures and protocols.
"We are aiming for a great clinical experience," said Borja when asked about why she decided to come to Berger. "This rotation
is very popular among students, and only a limited number get to participate each year. The students who have been at Berger have
always had a great experience," she added.
Pacific University's relationship with Berger started several years ago when a local physician's sister was in the university's
Physician Assistant Program and came to Berger for a clinical rotation.
Both Borja and Youngblood will complete their clinical rotations in May, with anticipated graduation in August.
