Press Releases
Circleville, OH -- August 9, 2004
Jack Sauner, President of the Pickaway Shrine Club, representing the Illustrious Potentate Michael D. Clevenger, of the Aladdin
Shriners, presented a check for $1,035 to Berger Hospital. This contribution came from the Aladdin Shriners' Hospital Association
for Children, Inc. and will be used to purchase pediatric physical rehabilitation equipment for the physical therapy service.
Every year the Aladdin Shriners Hospital Association for Children, Inc., through the members of the Aladdin Shriners, contributes
thousands of dollars to hospitals and organizations in local communities to help children age 18 and under. This check brings the
total amount to $78,697 that has been contributed to Berger Hospital during the last 12 years.
Gunni Long, Berger's Rehab Services Director, expressed her appreciation commenting, "The Aladdin Shriners have been fantastic supporters
of pediatric orthopedic services at Berger Hospital for many years. Our staff greatly appreciates their support."
The largest contribution from the Aladdin Shriners naturally goes to the Shriners national program, which is, Shriners Hospitals for
Children.
If you know of a child who needs the orthopedic or burns treatment offered by Shriners Hospitals or Aladdin Shriners Hospital Association
for Children, Inc., contact the local Shrine Club or Aladdin Shriners at 1-800-475-3850. All treatment provided by Shriners Hospitals
is furnished free of charge to the families.
